Nisa supports retailers in the lead up to Mother’s Day

Nisa has launched a special gifting event for retailers to help them make the most of the Mother’s Day sales opportunities throughout March.

The event, which is in stores now, will be available right up until the big day – Sunday 22nd March - and will support Nisa partners in generating additional sales with competitive pricing and offers on a wide range of gifting favourites.

A wide range of sweet treats and favourite tipples form part of the in-store deals Nisa partners will be offering to their shoppers, ensuring they have every chance to make the most of the event which is worth £1.2bn1.

Nisa retailers will be helping their shoppers to treat their mums with a raft of great deals, all supported by eye-catching point of sale material to use in store whilst also being promoted on the Nisa consumer website and social media channels.

Some of the offers in the promotional event are cheeky chocolate treats including Maltesers Large Box and Aero Bliss Chocolate boxes for only £3 and Cadbury Milk Tray or Guylian praline-filled seashell chocolate boxes for just £4 – premium chocolate lines such as Thorntons Continental box (£7) are also available.

Favourite fizzes from Mionetto in either Prosecco Brut or Rose Spumante for £8, as well as a gin selection from top brand Kopparberg in Strawberry and Lime or Mixed Fruit variants for £16, are available to help shoppers raise a glass to the special woman in their lives.

Wholesale category controller at Nisa, Jayne Lattimore, said: “Shoppers on gifting missions tend to buy on impulse and so we’re encouraging Nisa partners to promote a wide range of products for Mother’s Day and to utilise our point of sale material to really draw attention to the category.

“With research showing that 91% of Mother’s Day gifts include chocolate, either as part of the main gift or smaller gift on its own2, we’re confident that this event will drive additional footfall and basket spend for our partners.”
