Lifting the spirits with own-label range

Spirits were well and truly lifted at Nisa’s annual retail exhibition held at Stoneleigh earlier this month with more than 4,000 cases of the new own-label Heritage Signature Blends pre-ordered.

The launch of the six-strong range proved a big hit with members who were offered the chance to sample the spirits in cocktails created by a skilled mixologist.

The Heritage stand at the two-day exhibition was a favourite for many with a selection of fantastic cocktails created using the Signature Blends range along with Heritage mixers.

Tracey Redfearn, Heritage Brand Manager at Nisa, said members were enthused by the move away from the sub brands to the Heritage brand.

“We received some very positive feedback from many members about the transition from the sub brands into Heritage. The range now has more of an identity and a more premium look and feel.

“The gin, vodka and whisky were particularly popular and we are hoping that members will buy into the whole range over the coming months.”

In total, Nisa members ordered more than 4,200 cases of Heritage Signature Blends spirits which was approaching a quarter of a million pounds in sales.

Vodka was the top seller with 1,245 cases of 75cl bottles sold at Stoneleigh while 641 cases of whisky were sold and 461 cases of gin.

The new selection has gone through a rigorous testing process and both the new gin and vodka are now made from 100 per cent grain, giving it a superior quality.

Tracey added: “The new spirit range has been specially crafted for our members and you really can taste the quality. We offered a wide selection of cocktails at Stoneleigh over the two days, all of which used our Heritage mixers, and when they sampled them, the response from members was very good – they thought they were delicious!”

The Heritage Signature Blends spirits will be on shelves at the end of May.
