Feeling frightful with Monster Value at Halloween

Nisa retailers have some scarily good deals to offer shoppers this Halloween thanks to a raft of Spook-tacular offers available as part of the latest seasonal promotional campaign.

Last year Halloween was worth £230m, up 44 per cent in the last four years, and with almost half of shoppers buying and decorating pumpkins for Halloween and one in four hosting a Halloween party, it’s a scarily good opportunity for retailers to increase sales in their stores.

And with the day fast approaching, Nisa retailers are stocking up now on a wide range of sweets and treats, all at competitive prices, to tempt shoppers to spend more.

The great deals will be supported by frightful point of sale materials to use in store and a Halloween Hub will be launched on the Nisa Locally website www.nisalocally.co.uk which will feature all the relevant promotional products, recipe ideas and offers as well as details for an in store competition.

Running alongside this will be a social media campaign, used to direct people to the hub and to their nearest store. It will also include price and product posts, competitions and videos.

The instore competition linked to the digital campaign, will urge shoppers to head into store and get a photograph of a special piece of POS and send the picture to be in with a chance of winning an iPad.

Head of Marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre, said: “Halloween is now the third biggest retail occasion in the grocery market and there are lots of opportunities for independent retailers to make the most out of it.

“According to research in the Join the Dots Shopper Sentiment Survey last year, more than three-quarters of shoppers buy sweets for Trick or Treaters and this is an area in which convenience retailers can really do well so we are supporting this with a really great selection of favourite brands as well as our fantastic digital competition.”
