Demand grows for gala dinner

The glitzy gala dinner held as part of Nisa’s annual two-day trade exhibition has been extended to accommodate additional guests after huge demand from retailers and suppliers.

The 2019 Nisa Expo held on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd April at the NAEC in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, will now see the gala awards dinner playing host to more than 900 people – making it even bigger than last year when the 900 mark was reached.

Tickets for the themed gala dinner, which is widely billed as the convenience retail industry event to be seen at, sold out earlier this month with a reserve list commencing.

The additional seats for the black-tie event have been issued to those already on the waiting list and those who have still missed out are encouraged to register their interest and get on the reserve list in case spaces become available.

Nisa’s Event Manager, Clare Bryant, said: “After the success of the gala dinner last year when we expanded to accommodate 900 guests, it’s fantastic to be able to surpass this for 2019 and once again make this our biggest gala dinner event in history.

“Once again it promises to be a wonderful evening for all those attending. The entertainment we have arranged, along with the annual awards ceremony, the fantastic food and drink being served and the thrilling theme, promises to make the evening one to remember.

“Anyone without gala dinner tickets but wanting to attend should register their interest on the website as tickets may become available and we will re-allocate them as soon as we can.”
